León, Gto., Saturday August 20th, at night with the rain:

Live music is always better a night, dreams come true at night and tonight Infest 3 is alive, a dream which we can now say is a "reality", now breathing in its third edition.

This time with two stages and 16 bands on the bill: Inyección Naranja, Hesting, Zubmarino, Milkmoon, Loreta, Kalzonchino, No Cover Band, Ceviche, Arty, Minerva, Somabit, Romeo, Orbita, Sonar, Emma and Saphira.

The musical proposals were very rich and varied; through the speakers we could hear from every genre of classic rock to electro pop.

Although all the bands played well, some sounded like they had more hours of practice than others, some new bands surprised me, while some left me yearning and others frankly shinedÉ

This is a brief band-by-band review of what went down tonight starting with Inyección Naranja, which is the band that closed the festival, up until the first one I heard, which was Somabit. Unfortunately I didn't make it to hear the performances by Minerva and Ceviche, to whom I send my regards and apologies, brothers.

Minerva

Inyección Naranja: As always, Inyección Naranja met all expectations, and today I write again that these kids always surpass themselves because their talent is constantly increasing. It sounds good, has great execution, they are always innovating with their box of rhythms and at the end they hand in a very solid performance.

Inyección Naranja

Emma: With the exit of Tony the drummer, this band is made up of solely women, they only played three songs, and the guitar was a little rough, but in the end they pulled it off.

Kalzonchino: Long-awaited by their fans, Kalzonchino finally appeared on stage, and between the tracks, the news of their new projects and their album, they incited those who follow them religiously, overall it was a good show.

No Cover Band: El Toppa, front man for this group, interacts very well with the audience, and their punk covers make anyone want to dance, and tonight was no exception.

Zubmarino: Originally from Durango, these are professionals in every sense of the word, their music flooded all those who were curious of their identity, the best of the night by far.

Saphira: Jimmy's band had many followers among the public. I didn't recognize them and I never heard them play before, but they seemed alright, it was a different kind of offering. Jimmy's experience surpasses that of the rest of the members, tonight was a really good show.

Loreta: It wasn't clear to me where the men of Loreta were from, I think maybe Aguascalientes. What stayed clear is the quality of their music, their interpretation and the experience they transmit from the stage, good show from them as well.

Romeo: This band separated itself from the rest of the pack during the festival. The essence of macabre youth with all its manifestations onstage, dreaming to be part of a project which attracts fans who have learned your songs and dance to them out of control, is what characterizes this band. Their music is different and it's another sample of the catalog of genres which can be found in the city, this night they owned it and the fans loved it.

Hesting: The vocalist of this group marked the difference between the voices that we heard in this festival. Zain's voice wasn't very clear or very strong, but it was on par, and despite this, I liked their proposal very much.

Arty: When they climbed the stage to tune up I heard people among the crowd whisper "Look, there's Arty, they really jam." After hearing them play I felt the same way, although they only played three tracks, they were sufficient to reinforce what I had heard.

Somabit: These gentlemen appeared talking very happily about MTV's Alerta Live, and the truth is that they made me happy too, today they played and played well, we should be aware of them because the best is yet to come.
